…for now anyway! Proud to have been born and raised an Oregonian and honored to call San Diego my home for seven years, I find myself wondering how in the heck I ended up in Buenos Aires, Argentina 🙂
After leaving Quito on Monday, February 17th, we flew to Guayaquil: the biggest city in Ecuador. Not necessarily a must-see place on our list, but that’s where we needed to be the following Saturday to catch our flight to Buenos Aires (BsAs). So for the next five days, we settled into a nice (very nice–oh my goodness–such-a-treat-NICE!) hotel, caught up on sleep, admired the flat-screen television and watched all of the sports/news/E News! channels that we could. We did see a few touristy sites, but for the most part we needed rest!
On Saturday, February 22nd, we landed in BsAs and checked into…another hotel! Everything about the Rochester Hotel was great, but by the sixth day we were ready to unpack our bags into our very own apartment. And that is exactly what we did!
(Above picture is from the BsAs airport bathroom, but maybe we could get one for our apartment bathroom. It truly makes me smile!)
Hey Sarah Girl, it is the little things in life that you don’t realize how much they matter until you cannot do or have them…..yep I get it. I remember being in Thailand and you were expected to carry your own tp! It only took once to learn that. Lie you and wishing you joy and happiness is BA! We love you!
